More Comfort Zone ...

Nearly a quarter century has passed since I was first introduced to a little-known "behavior evaluation" system developed over 2600 years ago. It is based on the premise that how we sound (our birth name) and when we arrive (birth date) contain a code that explains specific design aspects of our nature and what we will have a tendency to attract to us.

Each number in this system (1 thru 8, 11 and 22) reflects an energy trait attached to every letter that comprises the sound of our complete birth name. The numbers in our birth date also carry a significant meaning. The total of these “sounds” and numbers accurately explains how we are "wired" energetically.

Every number total contains polarities (degrees of positive and negative) that can be affected by how we were nurtured by our parents or guardians and influenced by our peers/siblings during our earliest developmental years. More often than not, many of us have been adversely influenced by our human “counterparts” to an extent that (often) makes it difficult for us to consistently express ourselves in a “positive” manner.

I frequently equate “life” as being similar to working-out in a health club where physical pain and discomfort are a common occurrence. In the greater scheme of things, resistance and adversity are designed to make us stronger (if it doesn’t maim or kill us in the process).

Some basic examples of how the energy categories function and how we can be challenged are as follows:

1 is the independent “self-motivator” but may be adversely affected if independence is not encouraged or allowed to develop. Anger stemming from frustration can be the result of “unrealized” independence and/or mistreatment.

2 is inclined to be cooperative and supportive, but often abused and taken advantage of early in life and can be the most “co-dependant” (loss of self-identity) prone. The challenge of differentiating between service (positive) and servitude (negative) will always be present.

3 is joyously creative and thrives on being in the spotlight, yet if ignored, overlooked, or criticized during adolescence, complex issues of low self-esteem usually develop. As adults, there will always be questions pertaining to “self-worth”. Oddly enough, shyness is frequently a common trait with this energy.

4 is all about order and structure, but if nurtured in an unstructured environment, maintaining order will always be difficult (in some way) to accomplish. This energy has a tendency to become very resistant to sudden change (stubborness) and, in the extreme, referred to as "anally retentive" or "obsessive/compulsive" (OCD).

I’ve seen “freedom loving” action-oriented 5 suffer from moderate to extreme immobility because of being nurtured in a restrictive environment during the “developmental years”. Unbalanced, 5 can leave a trail of non-commitments and piles of incompleteness.

The "natural teacher" 6 may have difficulty sharing info and “telling it like it is” because of continually being told to “shut up” during adolescence. It is idealistic by nature and will always face issues of disappointment when outcomes fail to meet expectations.

Curious and sensitive "healer" 7 internalizes/holds everything within if nurtured around noise and/or abuse. In an unbalanced state, this frequency is continually challenged with issues of trust and betrayal.

8 can have difficulties (either) realizing the ability to “take charge” or abuse their power and mistreat others. Employing fairness in the usage of authority is the primary challenge as well as maintaining a “cool” head or heart. This can be a very “angry” frequency when unbalanced from being abusively nurtured or restrained. Over the years I’ve noted that some of the most violent crimes committed are by individuals possessing either 1s or 8s in a very unbalanced state.

“Service-minded” humanitarian 9 can suffer some of the most horrific examples of abuse; yet continue to come back for more. The challenge in utilizing this energy in a positive manner involves recognizing boundaries.....knowing when to help and when to allow the person in need to learn how to help themselves.

Charismatic, dramatic, and dynamic 11 (a Master frequency) may express a tendency to speak while failing to listen, and can “short circuit” themselves through poor eating habits. This "high energy" frequency can be exhausting to the user as well as to those around them.

Care-taking, super-intuitive, and structure-oriented 22 (the other Master frequency) may have challenges in allowing others to learn from their own mistakes, often choosing to push the errant participant aside and finish the project in the manner they deem correct....oftentimes known for "biting off more than they can chew".

If we consider the body as a “vehicle”, the soul is the “engine” while the intellect and emotion provide the “steering mechanisms” for this complex “mode of transportation”.

Several years ago I made an interesting discovery that, when the number representing our feelings (total of the vowel values in our complete birth name) was combined with the number representing our thoughts (total of our birth date...month, day, and year), their sum total reflected the activity best-suited to serve as a way to find intellectual/emotional balance. I refer to it as the “Comfort Zone” but it could easily be called the “Passion Zone”

When operating in the “Comfort Zone”, time seems to “fly by" and (often) there is an overwhelming sense of focus that makes the activity seemingly effortless.

I began testing my theory on the “airways” several years ago and was amazed at the level of accuracy and useful information this system provided. I’ve created a brief rendition of basic explanations to accompany each “Comfort Zone” category.

For “one on ones” at a nominal fee I can be reached at galensbook@sbcglobal.net. Enjoy the “informational ride” and test the “Comfort Zone” on your friends and family. From an energy standpoint, this is a great time for exploring, examining, and expanding our perceptions of not only who we are, but what we have the potential to become.  Galen
